Why Buy Now? CarGuard for your Vehicle

I speak with AAA members on the phone. Often times, I will explain all of the benefits of CarGuard, but for some reason, they hold off on buying.
"My car is rock solid. I haven't had any problems with it." "I just don't think I need this for my car yet. I'll call you back in about 6 months."
About a month or two later, they buy the policy after their car suffers a catastrophic repair. It's happened at least a dozen times.
So why buy now? I can think of three reasons immediately.
1. Your car isn't getting any younger. Cars have "birthdays," or odometer readings, that change the value of the car. For instance, most factory warranties expire at 36,000 miles. 48000, 50000, 60,000 and even 100000 are all important marks that dramatically change the value of the car. When they hit these readings, warranty rates go up and the value of your vehicle decreases.
2. Your car isn't getting any cheaper. Even though the value of your car plunges over time ( a new car loses $10,000 of worth when it leaves the lot,) repairs don't get any cheaper! This is why buying a warranty sooner will lock in your rates.
3. Finally, you never know when your car is going to break down. Because you cannot plan for a a car breakdown, it isn't always easy or possible to finance the repair. By purchasing a warranty, you are purchasing your car's repairs upfront, therefore you are never financially unprepared.
Buy CarGuard for your car. Finance your car repairs and never be surprised by catastrophe again.
